Announcing the U.P. Notable Book Club!
Read Books—Zoom with Authors—Get Educated and Entranced with/by Michigan’s beautiful Upper Peninsula
Do you love to read? Do you love the raw, untamed, beautiful U.P? Do you feel like winter is closing in and you want to spend time with interesting people? Then here is just the thing for you—Join the U.P. Notable Books Book Club!
Here is how. There are ten books on the 3rd Annual U.P. Notable Books List. Eight of the authors have agreed to do a Zoom talk with readers like yourself about their book. Buy these nine books, or check them out from your local library. (If you are buying your books, please consider supporting your local, independent booksellers). Then meet with the author and other readers monthly to discuss the book.
HOW TO JOIN: Please contact Evelyn Gathu in advance by email: egathu@crystalfallslibrary.org or by phone (906) 875-3344. We recommend you borrow a copy of these books from your local library or purchase from your local bookseller in advance to get the most out of these events.
